Notice
On June 27, 2026, the NamePros discussion thread documenting this case was closed by the forum’s moderators.

I respect NamePros’ right to manage its platform and have no comment on that decision.
I will simply note a few facts.
The thread began on September 16, 2025.
Over the following months, it grew to more than 700 posts and near 50,000 views.
During that time, none of my posts were rejected, hidden, or removed by the moderators.
The thread remained open until after my latest post, which set out four questions that, to date, I maintain have not been answered by Namecheap, eNom, the .BUILD Registry, or ICANN.
Readers are free to draw their own conclusions.
Future updates will be published at https://unveil.co.
Part 3t has now been published.
Please visit https://unveil.co/forums/topic/malaysia-build-domain-loss/#post-711
The documentation continues.
The questions remain.

December 2025 Update:
- Public reporting indicates Namecheap is undergoing a majority-ownership transition involving CVC Capital Partners. The matter documented on this site remains unresolved as of Day 503.
Sources:
- I’ve received formal acknowledgment from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office confirming receipt and intake of my consumer complaint regarding the malaysia.build domain matter (Complaint Reference: CIC# 25-020223).
- In addition to the previously noted filings, my report to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission has been formally logged under Consumer Sentinel (Report #195289817).
- As part of my complaint, I called attention to Namecheap’s dismal D- rating with the BBB. This rating is a direct consequence of the company ignoring over 150 previous complaints. The evidence is publicly available on their BBB profile: https://www.bbb.org/us/az/phoenix/profile/web-hosting/namecheap-1126-1000045547. - Malaysia Government Confirms “malaysia.build should never have been registered in the first place”
Malaysia’s official regulator (MCMC / GAC) has spoken — and placed 100 % of the fault on ICANN’s system failure.
This is no longer a dispute. This is an officially acknowledged governance collapse.
